F30 Rear Fog Light Failure

I had pre lci rear lights, i would get a warning for rear fog light failure when reversing light didnt really beam.

I decided since they were pre face lift lights, i would buy a set of VLAND GTS anyways and do the upgrade.

Upgrade done, but i still get the rear fog light failure but even worse when i press the break pedal it switches on both indicator lights as well as trunk one just flashes randomly just for the right side. im leaning towards just changing the connector on the tail light trunk. (for those who might assume faulty headlight from vland, they shipped me one then shipped me another so unless i got unlucky twice i doubt it)

I've ordered it but just wondering if anyone else had this issue or something similar they managed to fix.

It does look like you have a short in the right side wiring. What happens if you turn the right turn signal without pressing the break pedal? - Same thing, random flashing of other lights? Have you inspected the connector for rust/oxidation and water damages? Have you inspected the wiring harness, the part that is exposed to outside elements? Maybe the insulation sleeve of some of the strands is damaged or breached through?

It's kinda pointless asking your questions until you carefully inspect everything first...

So today i changed out the connection for a new one on the green one plug (right side causing issue with taillight) i re-pinned it same as it was.

1. Brown
2. Green/Red
3. Yellow/Purple
4. Blue/Black

Can any confirm if this is the correct wiring for pre lci inner tail light as changing the connection did not solve my problem, in hindsight the left side has actual corrosion and is working fine so i did assume it wouldn't fix it.

I think from factory they both would of arrived black, so the right side was definitely changed at some point my guess is the might of re-pinned it incorrectly hence the fault, unless of course it is repinned correctly. Then i have no clue.

also to answer your question

when i turn on right indicator without pressing break pedal it works perfectly fine without full beams. when theres full beam it flickers.
