Harman Kardon electrical diagram
Hi everyone.
Unfortunately, my amplifier stopped playing. My car is a 2016 BMW 328i - harman kardon + ASD. After connecting, everything works, the amplifier communicates, it can be coded to the car. Unfortunately, it doesn't make any sound. It was also updated to the latest software along with the car. Unsuccessfully. I am looking for a company that can repair it, unfortunately also without success. There are no burnouts on the board. Where to look for the cause? Is anyone able to plant a wiring diagram or a place on the board where to look for damage? Are these power amplifiers? Thank you for your help. |

Thank you, it's helpful.
Honestly, I am also looking for wiring diagram on the PCBA board. My guess is it will be hard to find. I have an electronics friend who, unfortunately, is looking in the dark ... Is anybody who repair ampt? What is frequent issue with lack of the sound? |

If none of the channels work but it generally communicates with the car and otherwise looks like it works I'd be looking at supply rails to amplifiers for each channel for a start.
Obviously the power supply at least partially works or it wouldn't communicate with the car. If it was a bad channel then the others would work. Both input supplies work (at the two fuses)? It's possible the 5A fused supply is enough for the communications to work etc, but the 40A fused supply would be needed for the amplifier itself. Have you read the codes? Maybe you'll get lucky and it will report something? |
