Cv shaft spacer replacement
Greetings!
I just did a rebuild of my cv shaft, and unfortunately when taking it out, I broke the plastic spacer that meets up to the front differential, is there a way to buy this? I can't see it in realoem or any other part list. Here is where it sits for reference... or maybe it doesn't matter? But want it in there if it serves a good purpose... the new shaft is 1200 so I'd rather not go that route! Thanks' |

This is what photos of a new unit look like, you can see the piece im talking about compared to how mine looks. I dont know where my broken piece went, ugh..

This part probably is a slinger to seal or protect the CVJ. You may consider checking the salvage shops for a used half-shaft.

Sorry, but did you ever solve this problem? I am in a similar situation and wondering if these plastic spacers can be bought from anywhere? If you can find the magnetic rings, how come this part is not available, even as an aftermarket.
