Hello,

I’m interested in upgrading 8.8 non touch to touch screen preferably larger size. I don’t want to add an android system just upgrade the display. Aside from the oem 8.8 touch and f15 screen, any other options to upgrade just the display?

you need to make sure your HU can even support the touch screen version if going oem. can’t just throw a touch screen in there and expect it to work as the HU needs to support apix2.

there is no other option then oem or droid screen and since you don’t want a droid screen, oem is only option.

There are G30 (LG version is apparently the best) 10.25" screens that are similar to the F15 10.25" retrofit. The G30 screen doesn't require cutting your dash but does require an adapter so it sits "flush" with the dash. Bimmer-tech sells the adapter so you don't have to try and make your own and it looks like poo. There is a thread in the F8x forum talking about it.
