Confused
I own a 2018 430i gran coupe. My Husband does the repairs if something goes wrong. My Axillary pump for the turbo is bad. Easy enough he ordered the pump done deal right? Not so much. What came was a what looked like the same part but it was quite a bit larger. The ports are bigger diameter so the hoses wouldn't fit if we tried... So my husband gives whoever he bought the part from the numbers off the one that came out of my car(A 000 500 14 86 01). They say its for a Mercedes?! Needless to say he is very frustrated at this point. I personally do not know Jack about cars so I thought I could ask to see if this has happened to anyone before? Obviously I bought the car used.. So previous owner may have done this? Thoughts? Please! I apologize if I have broken any etiquette rules or anything. I am new and this is my very first post ever.

It looks like these are two different pumps coming from different area. One is an auxiliary pump, the other is an electric pump. Two different parts for two different purposes. Not interchangeable.
