318d GT F34 - "28F400" & "28F300" Codes
Hi Folks,
So my 318d GT has been fine and getting onto 240k km's. I've recently noticed a few situations where it feels like the clutch is slipping around 1900 2000 revs, drops a bit and then continues to rise as normal. I'd upload a video but not sure if it's possible... Nevertheless, yesterday I was trying to demonstrate to my mechanic what it was doing and got a video of it, but right afterwards I got the "Drive Train" warning so I took it in for him to check the codes. The codes he got were related to the Clutch: 28F400 and 28F300 - but what he couldn't get was what exactly these codes point to that needs repairing or replacing. Has anyone else encountered these errors or know what they refer to exactly? TIA |

Look them up at https://bmwfault.codes/, view the various fault info entries. At 240k you're due for a clutch.
