Yes. You can get an OBDII splitter but I'd be careful with those just so that you don't put too much traffic on that port. If I do any coding, I just unplug the P3 gauge and plug in my Carly/VeePeak dongle |

I pulled the trigger on an Eventuri intake because it looks and sounds the best out of all the options out on the market. I went through IND as they're local and had a few in stock. Massive shoutout to Ryan@IND for the help. I'm extremely thrilled with this piece,
The unit exudes quality and the install instructions on the Eventuri site were pretty good. Install was pretty straight forward. The worst part was getting a good angle to tighten down the clamps around the silicon coupler. Driving around, the intake is immediately louder. Below 3k the intake is pretty silent. After 3k rpm or like 30-50% throttle, you can hear the turbo spool or at least the air getting sucked in. Lifting off releases a pretty funny to me Darth Vader sound. I'll try making a video soon. Throttle response is improved and the car feels quicker. At higher rpms like 5k and higher, you can sometimes hear the car releasing boost pressure in the intake because it sounds like you're lifting off the throttle. Boost pressure doesn't really drop when this happens so I'm guessing its the DME regulating boost. Intake temps maybe went up 3*-5* F. I'm curious what removing the engine cover will do. Boost pressure now maxes at like 13.6 psi compared to 12.1 psi before. I don't have any tune or other things done. I'm curious what heat reflective tape on both sides of the Eventuri heat shield would do paired with a turbo blanket. I was tempted of getting a non resonated turbo inlet but the stock one seems fine. It's not restrictive in my opinion. Last edited by squaredphoto; 05-16-2022 at 03:06 PM.. |

Back in Sep 22, I hit something in a construction zone with my front lip and got a chunk missing I'll be getting that taken care of soon along with another exterior that recently made it in from Germany. Hopefully I'll be able to have another update in a month or so
Spent some time doing 50k maintenance so did engine oil change, transfer case and diff oil change, spark plugs, cabin filter and dusted off the Eventuri filter. Right after that, I took a road trip from Chicago to Houston and the car did great! I was actually impressed with the 35 mpg at 85 mph all the way down and super happy with how comfortable the car is long distance Picked up a set of OEM blackline taillights from Turner Motorsports and put those on today. I'm really liking these and honestly got them after I saw MatF30UK with a similar set |

With the help of saga boy, I managed to get an Alpina trunk spoiler and recently put it on. It really suits the shape of the F30.
I put a new 3D Design front lip on and also debadged the trunk. I noticed that the steering will sometimes have a intermittent rubbing feeling when the steering wheel is turned to 11 or 1 o'clock position. No clicking or other feedback, just some noise. |

Hi everyone!
I've been a lil quiet but still enjoying the car There's been some maintenance work and some goodies put on.
New control arms and alignment tightened up the front again back to how it should be. My front KW V1s are starting to leak with nearly 45k mi on them. The rear subframe bushings are starting to make the rear end feel floaty so will need to address those issues next. The xHP tune is a nice new experience for the car with no engine tune. Shifts are a little quicker and I've noticed city driving MPGs slightly increase by around .5mpg on a tank by getting through the gears quicker. Sport+ is an animal MHD stage 1 is on my radar Moreso as a preventative measure, I got the heatshield to try making things last a little longer in the engine bay. It was tough to photograph but I stacked the BN heatshield with the small Eventuri one to get best of both worlds. While I was there, I put on the Dinan inlet to match the Eventuri intake. The fit and finish was great. Only thing I noticed is the wastegate sound is a pinch louder and with a slightly different tone. Before, wastegate sounded like the "coo" part of cookie lol. Now it sounds like the "kie" part of cookie. Neat! Other than that, everything is the same. Some pics along the way! |
