Remap on a 320 ed
Hi, first time BMW owner and I genuinely feel awful for buying it. Owned an Octavia vRS diesel (had it mapped by REVO) that was a brilliant car, until it got written off. So far this car has been about as interesting to drive as a tractor and is specced like a prison cell.
Generally the reviews seem to be OK on a stage 1, but I cannot find any feedback on an Efficient Dynamics trim. As I understand the gear ratios are longer so acceleration is hit. Is there anyone here that has a remap on a ED variant, that can shed some light on drivability after? |

Buys a 160hp 1700kg BMW and compares it to a remapped 1400ish kg vRS (184hp base).
If the car is that terrible, just go and buy a VAG again, or buy a more powerful BMW to begin with. |

I'm pretty certain the ED is just a detuned 20d engine, so a remap will get you to around 220-230bhp. That will hopefully change the dynamics a bit.
We have an X4 with 20 inch wheels with similar power and it's not bad! |
