F30 LCI Headlights, smoke, tint, replace?
Hey guys,
I’m absolutely obsessed with my car and I’ve decided on a black and red color scheme, and I feel like the headlights are still a bit too light. Any suggestions? Tint? Some other modification? |

Depends what you're trying to accomplish. But be it stock or aftermarket a lens that's not clear will result in reduced light output. Being Canadian maybe you're a Corey Hart fan? Tinted lenses are like wearing sunglasses at night.

Yeah tbh, I'm not overly fond of the thought of tinting my headlights, I just want to figure out a way to black them out a bit to match my theme. |

You could use a photochromic film. When exposed to UV during the day it darkens, it doesn't darken with light from bulbs, the same as used with transitions glasses.
