N13 (F31) Rough idle(cold start) since a few days.
Since a few days my 316i (2013) is idling rough at cold starts. It fluctuates from 700 - 1200 rpm.
It stalled ones when letting go the clutch, and after restarting it gave a "Drivetrain" error. I've attached the error codes that i got with Bimmerlink. Anyone knows what this could be? Maybe a vacuum leak or something? Id appreciate the help! |

I've checked for vacuum leaks (optical) but could't find any by eye.
I have cleared the codes and drove about 100km with it. Yesterday i got the Drivetrain error again. But this time it only gave the Turbocharger coolant pump 20A608. Car still has a rough idle though. - Could the auxiliary coolantpump be causing the rough idle? I think this is unlikeley. - Should i have the auxiliary coolant pump replaced? - Anyone has an idea what can cause the rough idle? Option's i have read are: Vacuumleaks and a leaking PCV membrame. |

I have found the Vacuum issue, turnout that the Vacuum line to the PCV was snapped. I didnt saw this when i checked earlier. I have replaced the line and runs like a charm now.
The only issue i have now is the coolant pump fault code. I have ereased the code, maybe it had to do with vacuum leak somehow but i doubt it. Lets see if it comes back |
