FYI: M Performance Interior Trim Discontinued
Hello, folks. I just wanted to let everyone know that you can no longer purchase M Performance Interior Trim kit for F series from BMW as they have been discontinued. Only way to get them now is left over stocks from third party vendors, ebay, or used from others.
I was able to get the last one in stock for F30 from ECS/Turner , after trying multiple dealers (local, getbmwparts etc.) and also fcpeuro. I was sitting on upgrading the trims thinking I will do other upgrades first before aesthetic ones, but had to go on a FOMO spending spree for all M Performance bits, as I feared that other parts would also be discontinued. If you were planning to do the interior trims, do it now! |

And I've kept all the original trim safely for if/when I sell the car and revert it back to factory

Think I saved about £800 against buying it individually. Still haven't fitted the steering wheel trims as I've got to disconnect the battery, and that requires removing half of the boot trim to access it (in a touring). Was so much easier when the batteries were under the rear seat (in my e34 M5). |

But know what you're saying; my E39 touring you simply pulled on the cubby cover and the battery was there! I fitted a recovered alcantara steering wheel to my F31 in Dec just gone (Royal Steering Wheels work); so it was old one off, new one on all built up etc Deffo worth it; it's the finishing touch IMO
