I have a BMW i4 in Portugal. The market is very different over here and electric cars are very common and popular. Portugal keeps getting fined by the EU for taxing ICE cars beyond what is allowed making them very expensive. EVs do not bear the special tax levy or VED (IUC) of ICE cars, making them affordable and popular. Portugal also has a superb charging infrastructure.

What makes it for me though is BMW Chaging and the way it is billed. I am currently paying 0,08€ per minute with a 0,59€ activation charge. This is currently working out at around 0,06-0,10€ per kWH. Even on the motorway network the charge is only 0,30€ per kWH. Takes the car around 35-40mins to get from 20-85%. And it's excellent.

My previous car was also a G series M340i. Whilst that had an amazing engine, I far prefer the performance of the i4. The Hans Zimmer Iconic sounds still make me laugh.

I loved my Mini SE level 3 in the UK which I had to sell before I left. The car was only about six months old when I sold it for quite a bit less than it cost - unfortunately the sever UK EV depreciation had already started, but the second owner really got a superb bargain on that car. Electric Minis are awesome if a little range restricted.
