Previous owner probably made wrong software on it, it also no longer works usb only sd card.

Hey. I've installed a junsun android unit in my f30. Green cables connected. Sounds comes fine through speakers. However when I call or receive a call I cannot hear the person on the other side. They can hear me. Removed my Bluetooth device from the nbt so it can't connect. Even if I don't use the android car play and use bluetooth only through the headunit same issue. Also my settings don't save after each time I start the car of the headunit. Not sure if thats related.

Any ideas?

I have the 12 inch touchscreen version of this android head unit in my F48 X1 and it is working. I have a MASSIVE problem in that every time I do a stop start or navigate to the OEM system then the android audio that is playing is muted until I reopen the app.

I have the unit going into the aux port of the HU ENTRYNAV system.

I asked the icodebmw guys for help and they have never come across this problem before.

So annoying I will have to remove the whole system if I can't get it fixed as I am constantly touching the screen while driving to open YouTube music or Waze

Has someone had this problem or know how to fix it?

Initially, you need to check the native version of Android on HU.
Identify Native Headunits

After that, if you have native Android 10, you can update to the latest version - 4.2.9.
It might be better to do a clean update, instructions are available at the link above.

Why would they? It's a community made app and has nothing to do with Chinese devs. Snaggle spent months working on it and reverse engineering Chinese firmware... and still is actively working on updates, new features and compatibility with new hardware.

I had this configuration with my old 8.1 unit and was working flawlessly.
I do not know if the system is different in Android 10 but give it a try, it needs some wiring but you can achieve what you want without software upgrade.

You probably could, but you need to figure out where you want to tap in (PDC button, PDC module, reverse light) and how to properly do it. I'm no longer using Android in my car so I don't have that problem.

Just signed in because you are my last hope in search of an answer! I currently have a BMW F30 316i from 2013 with a android headunit build in. I've got the:

MCU ver: 023052dGS-NBT-GTH-190816-B18
APP ver: Ksw-P-Userdebug_OS_v2.4.5
System version: 9.0
RAM: 4G

Recently my bluetooth isn't working properly anymore.. I would love to know how I can upgrade my system so everything will be working again. Also i would like to know if there is an option to use Carplay on my headunit.
