Outside of drivers window has been scratched internally

The strangest thing I’ve seen is that my F30 drivers window is being scratched outside when it goes down and comes back up
Looking inside the door is for a difficult to tell what’s happening without taking everything apart
It operates smoothly without noise
Anybody ever seen this?

Is it a single moderate scratch or many tiny scratches? What’s the pattern and dispersion like? Pictures would help

Not scratched
about an inch wide scuff
looks more like a scrape that took the shine off of the glass
