sucked extra for me cause i almost never get attacked by birds. i can’t imagine having to deal with what i had to do, on a regular basis. it took me hours to get all the markings out. never had it this bad before.

I'm exaggerating a bit lol but it is a regular occurrence here. Honestly it's every week or two max. I tip my hat to you going all out and doing a full polish etc. That's a lot of work for something that's going to happen again. I need to get a paint correction done eventually.

I take a cloth soaked with water and place it on the area for a bit to loosen it, keeps rubbing to a minimum, then detail spray to finish. I used to live in Florida so I know how that stuff can get baked on quickly.

Joined with around 85-100 like minded folks for the BMW CCA chapter's annual meeting and barbeque today. Along with mine, there was one other f31 and one more Touring were there among about 80 cars today (along with two more attendees who claimed to be Touring owners). Great turnout, great food, good time all around.

Orange brakes are gorgeous in that light! Enjoy the PNW I lived in Seattle for 6 years. It's a wonderful place for cars. No rust. My friend's Saab had almost 300k miles on the odometer before it was totaled in an act of vandalism.
