New Aftermarket F30 LCI Headlights, thoughts?

Stumbled upon these headlights modeled after the newer headlights. Not an exact replica but not bad for the price and there are sequential turn signals. They say there is an option for the OEM LCI adaptive LEDs and Xenons. But also halogens? Tempted to pull the trigger and see if these are any good but it's honestly a gamble. What are your guy's thoughts?

My thought is that, when it comes to headlights, it is almost always better to just save the money and put it toward getting an OEM used pair.

design. Would work great with cars that have body upgrades (front lips, side extensions and etc). Imo, does not work well with stock cars' body lines.
Also, the turn signal brightness is too dim for my likings. - Safety concern.
In most cases this is a typical issue with aftermarket lights - development stage is too short and not enough effort in finetuning the driver/led parameters for appropriate brightness to meet standards. There is also light leakage into the rest of the assembly when the blinker is on...
The driving lights (aka angel/halo) and low/high beams seem to be adequate, but no visual proof of coverage/brightness.

Overall - reminds me of Audi headlights and, because of that, I would never consider for myself. To each - their own.

Thanks for sharing.

You bring up some good points. Interesting though that these aftermarket ones are actually based on the newer 3-Series Facelift (G20 I think); not really an exact replica but the same-ish style. They do definitely remind me of the Audi headlights too. I love angel eyes, but these would match my aggressive build and are unique since I haven't really seen anyone with these yet.

I did end up taking the gamble and buying a pair. So I will update the thread once they get here.

My thoughts exactly, while Audi and the newer G20 facelift sorta follow the same style. These are pretty unique on their own and I haven't seen anyone rocking these.

I saw these before too on Ali and expressed a bit of interest. They might look better on the car once you replaced the grill with someting like this: https://aliexpress.com/item/1005004341178260.html

Ah interesting, I have some kidney grills on mine right now. Those grills would match but personally am not a fan of their look.

I changed halogen to depo long ago.

When the headlight switch is on auto, engine is switched off, Angel eyes stays until I open the door. I can fiddle on the idrve how long the DLRs to stay when the car is unlocked. Similarly you can completely switch them off on the idrve.

how bright is the aftermarket LED compare to OEM LED LCI headlight? i m thinking of buying the aftermarket LED LCI to convert my xenon, however if the LED brightness is the same or worse than OEM LED or OEM xenon, there is no point for me to spend $ just on the looks.

Thanks.

Thanks.
I have read in this forum that OE LEDs are produce significantly less light output than OE Xenon. Interesting to learn about aftermarket LED output.
