Purifier
Any recommendations for an air purifier - probably a lost cause but to try to reduce our son’s “allergy” to his bedroom!! It’s in a thatched roof space and we think the combo of horsehair in the plaster and dustiness is what sets him off.
No idea about these things…

Brand power. For some reason I think of Philips as techs and trustworthy - why??!! So I’ve seen one on Amazon for £100 (800 series) - reckon I’ll give it a try.

We live in Cyprus where we have occasional dust storms coming from the Middle East or North Africa.
We bought a BlueAir Classic 480i for each of the bed rooms and my home office several years ago, it really makes a difference. We also got a 680i for my in-laws, that one has wheels so they can move it between bed room and living room. I see they have many newer models, that I don't have any experience with, but I can vouch for the 480i and 680i models. |

I've got a Vax one that was about £150 and does a reasonable job. My house seems really dusty for some reason and it does seem to catch stuff quite well, the only downside is that on anything other than lowest it does make a noise which I find quite irritating, but that's the same for all of them, it is a motor spinning after all.
