My rear passenger and driver windows do not role up and down. Is this a known issue? I am wondering if it could be a fuse.

This can happen with all cars. It could be a fuse but if a fuse has gone it's likely to be because of a fault with the motor etc, so replacing it is likely to just cause the fuse to go again.

I think it warrants a separate thread though.

Hello shawnsheridan.
I had a wrong battery installed on my F31 316d 2012. And Start stop system won't work, failure shows on a main display. After I changed it for a proper battery, 80hA, around 700A, registered it and it is all good with the voltage and the system, but one error is persistance 801C20. As I can see it is for a ZGM module memory full, so that's probably due to wrong battery etc. Can I just reset ZGM module with ISTA+? Because that's the only error which is not current error but stored.
Start stop system won't work, failure is still present due to that error. I also checked the IBS and it's connected physically, but I didn't check with ISTA+

Happy holidays and thank you in advance.

Did you try juat clearing all fault codes and then rechecking it?

I have tried that, but 801C20 comes back immediately.

I have no experience with this fault:

801C20 Fault Information

Fault Code Description
The central fault memory is full. The faults saved in the central fault memory or ambient information are incomplete or not up to date.

Service Plan
Process the faults stored in the vehicle.

Service Notes
This is not a control unit fault.
The central fault memory was automatically deleted after the start of the diagnostic procedure.

I would create Test Plan in ISTA and see where it takes you.

Interesting, I was testing again my battery and it turned out...it is not AGM battery at all, but LCI lead acid, that's why is causing the system alarm and error. IBS is okay, but battery isn't, I am going the exchange this battery with the AGM battery. Fembody => TCM_MSA_DEFAULT_OFF = aktiv this GDM is already on aktiv, I coded it again to active...but no luck, I think it's the wrong battery and ibs sensor is reading some inproper resistance.

TCM_MSA_DEFAULT_OFF has nothing to do with battery, this is to disable ASS (Auto Start-Stop).

I know, I was thinking I could disable ASS and the pop up error on the display will be gone, but still no luck. This is a system error, not just Start stop system problem.

I will inform you what would happen after changing the battery.

Hybrid EME (inverter) F30 vs G11, G12 Swap Feasibility

Hybrid inverters seem similar, the part numbers are different:
3' F30 (02/2015 — 10/2018) vs 7' G11, G12 (02/2015 — 02/2019)

Looking to replace F30`s dead inverter p/n 8679666 with G11`s one p/n 9485004, model name LEB450D.

Can a G11 EME be coded to work in a F30 chassis?

Hello
I am looking for the download link on the latest version that will work with my 2017 F31 LCI. I have the PC and cable. I tried bimmercode and worked fine until it did not and lost my screen. So I am a little skeptical about another costly adventure.

Is there anyone in the DMV, specifically Columbia, MD area, still doing coding? Just got an F33 and would like to get the latest iDrive and see what else is available.

It's 7 Days from account Creation, and there is also some Minimum Post Requirement, but I do not know how many it is.
