I keep hearing a noise when i steer both when stationary and moving and it sounds like something sliding over the other. There is tiny change in friction but maybe I'm imagining it but the sound can be heard both inside and outside the car. I took it to the dealer and they asked me if it's driven through water recently. I answered yes and they told me it's 90% the EPS going bad but it doesn't feel like it. Is there any way I can fully confirm because they told me they're going to have to replace the entire steering system.
