Hi folks,

last summer I activated fullscreen CarPlay with Feature Installer in my NBT Evo ID6 working well. Yesterday I got a mail from BMW ConnectedDrive Store for a 50% special offer for CarPlay activation so I decided to remove the fullscreen CarPlay and restore it back to OEM state with Feature Installer.

It worked fine but now my nav stopped working, saying "Connect usb drive with correct activation code". So I booked the 1 year subscription for map updates and downloaded and copied the Europo EVO 2025-2 map to my usb drive with the FSC by using BMW Download Manager.
When I plug the USB in, it says that the navigation data on the usb are not newer than the installed one but I can still proceed to install them. But then I get the "Connect usb drive with correct activation code" again.

So now I have OEM CarPlay activated from BMW's ConnectedDrive Store and a 1 year subscription which my NBT Evo refuses to install although I have the correct FSC on the usb. What to do now? Remove the map with Tool32 and try reinstalling it then?


I am not sure if I installed Europe EVO 2025-2 map last year when my carplay was activated by FeatureInstaller because afaik it also install lifetime FSCs where I can install any map update because I remember that back in 2023 I bought the 1 year subscription for nav updates and installed Europe EVO 2024-x. FeatureInstaller backed up the FSC for it and I still have it but using Save FSC is just failing. Also downloaded the Europe EVO 2024-2 map and tried installing it with the FSC FeatureInstaller backed up. Same message like above.


Any ideas?
