A few days ago, it was sunny/hot and 90 Fscking degrees at Chez Vreihen. Today, it's 46 F and raining...with a Freeze Watch up for wintry mix and lows of 26 F overnight into tomorrow.....

93% chance of water, falling right out of the sky tomorrow. I didn't wash any vehicles, so it won't show. UNLESS I forget to move that chest of drawers I just refinished back into the shed or the house.

Plenty of sunshine this morning then clouds and wind gusts moving in before noon, later on some more sun before sundown with a high of 13C expected mid afternoon.

Raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock. My Ambient Wx station is
currently showing 1.02 inches and rainfall rate of .31 inches/hour.

We were supposed to get rain today but instead it's just cloudy. Currently 68°F with a high forecasted at 71.
Rain is now forecasted to be on Saturday and Sunday. We'll see if it stays or gets pushed out again. |

81 yesterday, 77 right now, supposed to be down in the 30's overnight starting Thursday with almost an inch of rain in the next 24hrs. Snowed on us the other day heading to a softball game.

High today is 78°F. Nice and sunny.
Only problem is the city is working on our street tearing up the sidewalk on our little cul-de-sac making a mess in front of my house, BUT, they're not even working on the sidewalk in front of my house, just making a mess.  |

Today was one of the top-10 days of 2026, with lots of sun and highs of 72 F. Tomorrow's forecast is for more overcast and sprinkles, with a more significant two inches of rain on Saturday. Lord knows we can use the rain here in the northeast.
I saw the TV news talking heads reporting that Amtrak had to stop a NYC-bound train just south of Jacksonville a few days ago because of a large brush fire, and wound up canceling that run and going back to Miami to unload everyone at the stations where they boarded. Lots of dry weather down there in FL and GA right now.....
