People quickly forget that the UK had the driest year for 100 years - it takes a long time for rainwater to refill the reservoirs and for it to reach the aquifers.

What started off and was meant to be a quick contactless wash; turned into a full hand wash and ceramic spray coating, towel dried and wheels/tyres treated, and all the satin black trim treated too (Chemical Guys Tire & Trim Gel) - it's great stuff to be fair

Once I'd blasted the initial snowfoam off; it was full of brown sludgy marks and black spots of grime all over that the snowfoam had no chance of shifting

Should give it a few weeks of easy washed hereon

Can't do my E39 today; in a lot of pain and that's why we're back from The Highlands already and not sometime next week... Stupid fecking body of mine

Managed to get the interior deep cleaned this afternoon; all surfaces wiped down. I've gently cleaned the alcantara parts too inc. steering wheel. They come up superbly with a medium bristled brush and dedicated alcantara cleaner

OEM velour mats reinstated now it's no longer winter and can't fit them without the nice straight lines

Quick service on the F31 this morning - full Liqui Moly engine flush; drained; refilled with Liqui Moly Molygen 5W40 and Mahle filter, and new Mahle air filter. Engine bay cleaned down as well; as you were...

Tip top Dan 👌

Do you jet wash in the engine bay, or is it all hand wiped down?

I power washed it sometime mid to late last year; it just gets wiped down after that - once it's properly cleaned its easy to keep on top of then

Nope; all is fine. Just don't go gung-ho basically

Give it a quick blast to wet it all; apply AGs Engine Cleaner and scrub with various brushes etc; rinse off well and then if you have one, a blower to rid any excess water

Start car and let it run for a few mons; that'll get it warm enough to dry it off, and then treat the plastics with whatever you choose

I now use AGs Instant Tyre Dressing as it works well and lasts well; just rub on with a cloth and then buff it dry. It lasts so much better than the likes of 303 Aerospace Protectant etc

Full clean inside, and then full wash and wet wax (Koch Chemie) this morning before it gets too hot; the wife manages to be able to get the car absolutely filthy in no time at all, no idea how; it seems to be a skill of hers
