Unless that ceramic coating is free, I would take that with a grain of salt lol.

Part of my price quotes. It makes sense to me. You can say that about a lot of things. A hybrid or mix of the two doesn't seem as good as the two separate applications. Only time will tell for sure.

The owner of my shop once told me that the PPF without the builtin hydrophobic topcoat stretch better and are easier to install over tight corners, edges, etc.

I got the front end (front bumper, fenders, hood, A-pillars, headlights, sideview mirrors) and B-pillars PPF'ed. Shop that did it used to use STEK, but they swapped to XPEL a year or so prior.
So far it's protected the passenger headlight, hood, and bumper. The shop hooked it up and replaced the PPF on the headlight and bumper for me at no charge. The hood still has the small tear and it left a flap on the film. Looks like there's a tiny ding there too, but the paint is still intact. Haven't pulled it off yet as I don't want it exposed, but I'm sure dust/dirt will build up there though. I recently installed some OEM CF parts, did anybody here PPF their CF? I was going to PPF the CF inlet ducts and sideview mirrors, but the shop that did my PPF said that if I ever needed to change or remove the PPF, some of the coating/clear might come off. They said they've seen it happen in the past. |

This is about as good as I can do. I repaired a damaged spoiler on my M4CS and had it PPF coated and added rub blocks.

I plan to try that ceramic infused PPF on my next car lol. The PPF on my car is over 7 years old but I don't plan to replace the PPF lol.

Yup! Once my G82 gets delivered in June (Hopefully), I'm ready to be part of the test.
