In doing a retrofit of ACC and PMA I found that the FEM_GW on my 2016 328i LCI is missing its CAFD. I tried Detect CAF for SWE, but got the error "No CAFD-Mapping for base variant ‘FEM_GW’ found [G090]." I am using E-Sys v3.40.2 with full PzSData v4.49.20 and the latest BimmerUtility as a launcher.

Since Detect CAF for SWE failed I attempted to flash the FEM_GW, however, it doesn't show up in the ECU list in TAL_Processing using I-Steps F020-24-11-500 and F020-24-07-520.

Is it possible the latest version of PzSData would resolve the issue? And if so, may I have the link?

Gateway modules (ZGW, FEM_GW, BDC_GW) never have CAFD as they are not codeable ECUs

Thanks, Shawn. I thought that was the case as well, but then I saw other sources saying it is codeable which is why I asked.

My question stems from the DTC code Missing Flexray Initialization I'm getting on my FEM_GW after a couple of retrofits. They likely confuse BODY & GW (e.g. FEM_BODY vs FEM_GW or BDC_BODY vs BCD_GW) as BODY is Codeable.

Sorry, I have no idea what is issue with your Flexray Initialization.

It's 7 Days from account Creation, and there is also some Minimum Post Requirement, but I do not know how many it is. YOur account looks like it hsould be enbale dby now. Have you checked you Profile to see if you can enbale your PM function?
