think 2013, gran lusso pininfarina with a modern update of sky top front. the grille is “floating” with the help of lights. rear is nothing like that render aside from lights shape. the car has a pointed front and rear end. it is a 2dr coupe. it will be the truest form of modern luxury from alpina. you’ll see in 2 more days!

Still have hope, long live coupes! We've been mandated mediocre (I'm being generous) looking SUV's and crossovers. Historically, two door coupes always look better than anything else on the road.
BMW...please don't screw up the interior. |

Agree with everyone - if this thing looks 70% this good, comes in a grancoupe, and doesn't have an interior that is an afterthought to giant curved screen placement. . . Maybe I won't buy a used m8 or rs6 in 18m.
All of that said I think Alpina is going to get extra premium based on language from BMW corporate so this thing might be pushing 200k which is well outside my budget anyway. I do like that the subbrand is going to continue to differentiate itself. I can't help but think I definitely would have cross shopped some Alpina models we never got in the states (b3/4) and I just hope we actually get a look. The only styling element I usually don't like is the wheels and thats an easy enough fix. |

Looking at the rear side windows, it’s immediately clear that this vehicle has a much less aggressive side profile and a more gently sloping roof. The rear side window is larger than in the 8 Series Coupe. Additionally, it features a glass roof and more space for rear passengers. This is something completely different from the current 8 Series / M8 Coupe. It is closer in character to the RR Spectre.

The first one - yes looks legit based on video teasers
The bottom blue ones - no. Side surface detailing is identical to the 8-Series Concept that had actual depth to that front fender vent. Obvi an EV so anything 8-Series is backwards. Wait…this actually might be a design preview for the upcoming Neue Klasse Coupé(s)?! Which would be a first?…in which an upcoming Bimmer model is previewed via an Alpina concept!? I wonder if they'll come up with something new for the guts, or if they'll just throw in the same 8 series interior like they did with the Skytop and the Speedtop
