Attention, for headunits lower than update 1.4.5 you have to update your headunit in the following order or it may be bricked !
1.3.1 -> 1.3.5 -> 1.4.0 -> 1.4.3 -> 1.4.5 -> 2.2.3 -> latest = 2.4.4

Does this also apply for SD680 M700 units running A13 and Witstek-KSW v1.1.5 or can I directly upgrade to the latest v1.6.5??

Hi guys. Well i had a problem with my system. I’m using nbt.

I already swap green fibre cable. But still do not have audio sound on FRONT AUX.

In the same time i also connect aux cable into aux port inside armrest but no sound also. Tried connecting other device using aux port inside armrest but still same not sound at all. Even no aux name on idrive, just front aux only appear.

I try the last option which using usb to aux adapter and attach to usb port inside armrest and yeah sound are coming. But the quality of the sound drops alot.

My question is

1. Is there any way of coding to reactivate the armrest aux port? Since i try few device also no sound.
2. How to check why front aux no sound since all fibre cable has been relocate?
3. Is the any different in term of quality for sound by using usb aux vs direct aux?

Hi everyone,
​I’m planning to upgrade my Android head unit, and I really want to keep using KSW-Toolkit for customization.
​As many of you know, most of the newer units hitting the market right now are the GT7 (Snapdragon 680/685) platforms, which unfortunately aren't compatible with KSW-Toolkit yet.
​Does anyone know where I can still source the KSW M700 units? Most AliExpress sellers seem to have switched their stock to GT7. If you know any reliable vendors or specific stores that still have M700 stock, please let me know!

Hi everyone,

I need some technical assistance with my Android head unit. Everything was working fine until I installed and launched ZLink 6.0.18 for CarPlay. Right after the installation, the screen went completely black.

System Specs:

Hardware: Snapdragon 662 (M600)

Platform: Ksw-R (Android 11)

Car: BMW X3 F25 (NBT)

Current Situation:

Original BMW System: It is working perfectly in the background. I can hear the OEM radio and the parking sensors (PDC) are beeping as usual, but there is no image on the display.

Reverse Camera: This works. When I shift into reverse, the camera feed appears correctly on the screen.

Android Interface: Completely black/no signal.

It seems like ZLink 6 forced a display resolution that is not supported, or it crashed the video drivers, preventing both the Android UI and the OEM BMW menu from being displayed.

Request for help:
Since I have no access to any menus, is there a way to force a display resolution reset or disable ZLink at boot via USB? Has anyone else experienced this specific bug with ZLink 6 on Snapdragon 662 units?

Any advice on how to recover the video signal without access to the settings menu would be greatly appreciated.

Good evening everyone,

I’ve run into an issue with my M785 unit on a BMW. The Android side has stopped booting — by default it only loads the OEM screen. If I power the unit outside of the car, it only shows a “No Signal” message.

When I try to tap the screen to switch to Android mode, the screen briefly flashes black for a second and immediately returns to the OEM screen.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
