I think I spotted the F30 in Munich! (Fully covered though).
It was on the ring, near Marienplatz. Does it look like the F30? I can say it definitely looked larger than the E90, not just because of the added panels, although obviously I have no clue how thick they are.

Oh this is embarassing... Sorry guys as you might be able to guess from the content of my original message, I did intend to upload my pics. I wouldn't be asking for opinions otherwise. I don't know what happened that the pictures didn't get uploaded, but they were in the post preview. I will have access to WiFi on my own computer tomorrow, so I will edit the post with pictures.
Sorry! |

Possible, but BMW has shown a lot of the M5 as well; much more than this car shows. All of the current M5 mules are just using the swirly stickers. The other thing is that the car had a regular dual (on one side) exhaust (a la 528i, 525d, 530d). That's visible in one of my pics, but with a larger resolution that I can blow up to see details. But you guys are right, it's definitely a F10. It was much larger than the E90, and looking at another shot showing just the taillights (wasn't uploaded), the pattern inside the lights is the same as the one found on the F10. Interesting.. |

Looks too camo'd to be the F10 M5. I'd guess F30, nice spot!

Could it be a mule testing the underpinnings of the 3er GT? Since the 5GT is based on the F01, maybe the 3GT is based on the F10...

Also possible, but it should be noted that it's not just the 5GT that's built on the F01 platform, but also the F10 5er. True, the GT shares a lot more with the 7er, but the regular 5er also shares the chassis from what I've read.
