Cool. I'm considering getting the M Performance Brakes and installing myself but I'm not sure about the brake bleeding process. Assuming you'll have to bleed them after you change the lines too?

Did you install the brakes with your friend?

It's all good. They are a nice wheel that matches the lines of the F30 well. Morr is at SEMA right now so maybe try one of their vendors on here?

The brakes came installed on the car. Bleeding brakes isn't hard at all. If you don't have a power bleeder you will need a friend though. I'm assuming the car will be on jacks or a lift so after you get the kit installed just do this.

Bleed from passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front, and then driver front.

You are going to want your friend to pump the brake pedal a few times and then hold it down before each time you open the bleed valve.

Use a rubber mallet if you want to lightly tap the calipers to try and release any air bubbles that might be stuck.

Also make sure the brake fluid doesn't get to low in the reservoir as you don't want air to enter from up there.

Bolt everything up and go for a test drive. You might need to bleed them again as driving could release some remaining air bubbles.

Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

Sounds easy enough... So what is the risk if you skip the bleed?

In short, you wont have usable brake.

I want to talk to them about come up with some custom offset for me. Im probably gonna track my car and i would prefer not to run -2.5 degrees at the back all the time. Do you really have to run -2.5 degrees of camber just to avoid rubbing on yours?

+1

Skipping the bleed is not something you want to do.

I went with a custom offset aimed at an aggressive setup since they are my street wheels. If I was going to track it I would get some 18's imo.

Yes I'm running -2.5 all the time with no rubbing. It's toe that destroys tires quickly so I'm not too concerned. I'm sure they can set you up with something that will fit perfectly. Can't wait to see it!

Hey Kimo,

I'm seriously considering getting the M Sport body kit installed on my car. I have all the pricing info and just thinking whether to do it or not. Costing me a lot of $$$!

My question is that I plan to get the Eisenmann Quadtip exhaust very soon. If I get the M Sport kit, do I simply need to purchase a quad tip diffuser before I purchase the Eisenmann exhaust?

Just a bit confused on what to do coz the diffuser on the M Sport kit is good enough for a dual exhaust and not a quad one.

Do you get what I'm saying?

Thanks again!

Do it!

With a quad exhaust you will definietly need a new diffuser. The question is are the manufactures making their quad tip diffusers for the msport or regular bumper. LTBMW just released their quad diffuser if you are in need of one right now...

Can't wait to see everything installed, get to it!

Thanks man!

The price is killing me! It's very damn expensive but I keep telling myself: "Hey, you live only ONCE!"...

But my girl friend is clearly not happy and fed up with all this.

"Boyz and their toyz"...

I guess I'll have to get a new diffuser now if I go with that exhaust or stick with the M Sport diffuser and get the M Performance exhaust instead.

Anyway thanks for your input as always. Let's see what happens. It's winter now so I might just wait a bit; if I can.

Will keep u posted bud!

Blue calipers come stock on Msports everywhere except the USA I believe. You are correct that the mperformance only comes in orange, yellow, or red.

Blue calipers are optional extra on Canadian F30.

I think the estoril blue thread has a car with blue brakes in it. As SamS said they are not available in the usa but that doesn't mean you can't get them powder coated to match.
