This damn cupholder tray! This was the cause of my dash rattle and I never would have suspected it. I am cheap and asked the dealer to replace it under warranty; cracked me up for them to say "we'll need to look at it first" then after a brief "discussion" about it, a "yes, we'll replace it" came out. Would they like to be tied to a chair and hear my hours upon hours of driving with this rattle instead? I think not! LOL!

I love it on mine. What do you hate about it?

That and no adjustable seat belt anchors on a $50-$60K car. Also the power windows seem a little slow, and it should have a panoramic moonroof, which you can't even get on the 5 series.

I hated my panoramic moonroofs in my previous cars for various reasons...they were loud/squeaky, the shade was not thick enough, got hotter in dead of sun WITH shade closed, etc etc) Now then again, this was Cadillac so take that with a grain of salt lol

You know, someone just complained over the weekend about my "crayon smelling car" yet the other passenger also in the car at the same time said "all I smell is new car and leather in here" LMAO! Makes me chuckle as I like the scent of it; MUCH better than the moldy A/C smell/stale smell I had in EVERY single Cadillac after a year or two of ownership! Every car, I had that dammed A/C smell addressed and it would only progressively get worse over time:/ The stale smell was just as bad and when mixed, it was deadly!

i hate that all the numbered presets are buttons but the adjacent forward/back buttons are actually a toggle. the first time i pushed it without looking and i thought the button was broken or sticking by the way it twisted. it really messes with my OCD and while the preset buttons have a pretty good feel, the forward/back buttons feel gummy and gross.

Well, I have a 2016 f32 and my biggest gripe is the crappy windshield side moldings that are made of hard rubber. These things now show water spots after a rain or wash unless I wipe them off really good. I did get the dealer to replace a set but these are doing it as well. My solution has been to purchase some rubber/molding protectant that helps keep it looking black and prevents water spotting. I just didn't think I'd have to buy something like that for a car that's not even two years old.
Other than that everything else seems good except the dependability of ConnectedDrive. It seems at least once a week I get a "no connection" screen on it. |
