Maybe I've cocked up here.
Yes, I think you need to get it added.

Sgll66 many thanks for that kind offer. I have decided to stick with the 19". Even the dealer is telling me the 20" change the feel of the car...for the worse. Consensus seems to be that they look awesome but are just not practical and deter from the car.

Just left them unpainted as liked the contrast.

Can I just buy the rear spoiler or would I need the entire pack? Would it look OK without the other parts? Any ideas on price too?
Cheers

Am pretty sure you can buy any component part individually. Not sure on price but its not a great deal as most of the price for the pack is down to the rims!

its around £1,800 for the pack excluding the wheels. I like the pack but not 100% convinced on the side skirts......

I'm just after the rear spoiler really. Would it look a bit daft on it's own???

I think it will look ok. The only other thing you can see from the back is the diffuser and that looks pretty pointless - its also stopping me from doing the foot wiggle to open the boot!!!

The side skirts also look just like a bit of plastic stuck to the bottom of the sill.

The front splitter looks very nice though. I would go for front splitter, grills and spolier with hind sight.

That's a bit of a disappointment. I use the foot wiggle to open the boot quite often so wouldn't want to lose that function.

I may have to rethink this, which may not sit well. Especially after I had convinced my wife of the super aerodynamic performance qualities too, nothing to do with looks of course

Funny how everyone has a preference for different bits of the M Performance kit. I'm thinking of leaving the front splitter and side skirt stickers, but doing everything else.

Do you not rate the side sills?

The side sills are not that noticable. The front splitter makes a statement. I agree on the stickers they make the kit seem a little chavvy!! next thing you know they'll have stickers with Brembo, HKS, etc on there!!!

Stock xDrive suspension is similar to stock SE/Luxury/Sport(UK)/Modern. Soft spring rate and soft damper settings. Great on motorways and sedate driving.

If you like to 'attack' some interesting pieces of tarmac, the standard suspension gets light and 'floaty', and there is significant body roll.

Adaptive gives you light and floaty in Comfort/Eco setting.
Over-damped in Sport setting, but this setting does significantly reduce body roll.

Some think this extra 'Sport' mode is better, some think it is a different kind of bad. It is up to you and your driving habits/expectations on which is best, therefore a test dive is the only option.
Here is my tuppence worth. I went and test drove an xdrive without adaptive at the weekend. In my opinion it will work perfect for you 99% of the time. The adaptive would only come into its own for the 1% of the time you want to be a hooligan. For me its not worth the extra, and I suspect for most drivers that will be true. Don't be ridiculed into thinking that it is a must have, because it isn't.
