I further test the OEM telephony and Android 10 HU.

If I press the phone button on the steering, the Android screen will launch the BT connection screen for telephony (in Android mode) and the HUD will show the last 10 dials number/name.

When receiving call, I just press the thumb wheel to accept. Android screen still stay the same but will pause my music player (Audioamp v3). Once hang up call, it didn't resume the music and have to press the play button on the screen.

Both calling and receiving will not jump to OEM menu.

* Note sure if this will affect the Android behaviour, in the settings I set the CANBUS to Old_V1.5 (third in the sequence). According to Kri XML Config file, the first is for CCC, second for CIC, third for NBT and fourth for NBT EVO. I also change in Android setting the voice command to do nothing when press so that I can use it for OEM voice command and trigger SIRI when long press.

Our bluetooth module is still very crap ... full of connection problems after an update, and a restriction that prevents any connection other than a tablet or a mobile phone ... Frankly our Chinese friends do not. were not friendly on this occasion and strongly that we find a way to bypass, install a new BT module

In the meantime, the re-injection of the factory_config.xml file worked for me (only once there again it does not work anymore at me too) this restored my bluetooth connection

When I got the new android HU, bluetooth didn't work.
It started working after I did a factory reset.

It does not require root.
"and write how to upload it" > this is done on your phone to turn on/off wifi hotspot when you turn on/off your car.


1) If you are still on Android 10:

- Create 2 tasks: one that turns on WiFi Tether and another that turns off WiFi Tether.

- Then create 2 profiles: 1 that when bluetooth connects to your car calls the task WiFi Tether ON and another that when bluetooth disconnects from your car calls WiFi Tether OFF.


2) If you are on Android 11:

Tasker is not allowed to control WiFi Tether anymore so you have to use a convoluted method using the AutoInput plugin to simulate key presses on your screen as if you were manually turning on wifi hotspot. Obviously this is quite phone dependent so the screenshots refer to what works for me (Samsung Galaxy S20FE). Once everything is configured though, it works great and the phone barely flashes when turning the car on/off.

- Create a task called Toggle Hotspot which uses AutoInput to turn on your screen, unlock it, opens quick settings, press on the screen where the icon is and then backs out of those screens.




- Create a Profile that calls this Toggle Hotspot task when bluetooth is disconnected

Mobile data + router has been successfully launched.

Normally mobile data cannot be added to task because they are blocked by tasker.
You need to connect the phone to the computer and enter the command via "cmd"

adb shell pm grant net.dinglisch.android.taskerm android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

After that, it is possible to add a task enabling mobile data...

Of course, the reason of No Signal in OEM screen is different Android HU model, you need to change your NBT for Evo model, no other solutions unfortunately.

I made such mistake ordered NBT instead of Evo and what I learned about Evo, there are different pins functions even though the LVDS 6-pin cable is the same, also the seller told there is a different mother board in Android HU.

This is interesting, besides a have a bit different behaviour ... So i have F26 with EntryNav, HUD, oem BT and USB.

So when i have incoming call, it does not bring the OEM phone menu, show the caller on HUD only, so its fine till this moment

But issues came after i accpepted the call ... during the call OEM phone menu is shown (still ok), but after the call is done (wheel button), the display stay in OEM HU menu, and no sounds from android.

Does anybody have a solution for that?

p.s. i do not see any difference in CAN settings is in pos 3 or 4, works same on my side

btw AppsWhiteList - what is the purpose of that list? May be memory killer will not touch apps from that list?
