Replaced the air filter cleaned air box. Made a very noticeable difference in throttle response. Albeit it wasn't all that dirty. The old filter had an extra grey layer to it. The oem bmw replacement i bought for it did not have the extra layer, but they're both made by Mahle?

Spent the entire morning (6 hours total) detailing the interior and exterior. Spot corrected some minor scratches with some compound and finished up with a DA polisher for a polish and wax. First detail since taking over ownership 1 month ago. End result turning the alpine white into glass

Changed air filter and cleaned up the interior. The beige dakota leather looks good when clean but does not hesitate to let you know when you need to apply some elbow grease. Those grab handles were gross.

I don't understand why dealerships spend time getting engine bays clean and shiny but will sell you a car with brake pads barely good enough to pass an inspection and filters so clogged, the car would have an asthma attack if it could. Who am I kidding? I totally understand why...

Gray layer = Activated Charcoal layer. They come with the layer or without.

MPPSK installed on my 2019 440. Though the dealer somehow only ordered one carbon fiber tip, so waiting for the other to come on Tuesday. Awesome upgrade, pricey but worth it.

That link someone else posted is spot on, it took maybe 10mins to do the first one, then 2 mins to do the other. I wouldn't worry about breaking the clips, they seemed very sturdy and I certainly didn't have any issues.

That link someone else posted is spot on, it took maybe 10mins to do the first one, then 2 mins to do the other. I wouldn't worry about breaking the clips, they seemed very sturdy and I certainly didn't have any issues.

I broke a couple clips on one side.... main reason was the one in the middle where the 2 meet... wasn't aware of it and couldn't work out why it was sticking!

I would advise caution.

Put my roof rack and roof box back on after my 2000km road trip to the windy city. Needs a good detailing now. (You might be able to see whats coming tomorrow if you look closely in my subaru)
