Of course it's never that consistent. What is consistent is bms posting 13.4 with a stock 328 with no time for the ECU to adjust, just plugged it in and went. The Kiev motorsports guy ran 13.5 in his 328 stock only jb4, same map which makes same hp as stage 1 and did that with full gas, full trunk, baby seat. There are 2 more guys with stock f30 328s stage one that ran 13.3s and posted their slips. I have a 2015 with a July manufacturing date which means it's all the same parts as a 2016 n26, had to find that out the hard way but it seems the 2016 n26 which is the last production year usually has the quickest 0 to 60 and 1/4 times. I'm not sure why everyone doesn't trust a gtech meter or the obd2 for times, a gtech meter is doing the same thing that a dyno does except its recording the car mass times acceleration rather than the dyno recording the drums mass being accelerated. The little sensors in the gtech pro things are the same tech that are used to guide ICBMs and even non nuclear in some cases.

That last sentence though... Username indicates a little somethin'.

From what I've heard about these, so long as they're calibrated and the pitch angle is set correctly, they are relatively close. As for measuring HP/TQ, that's pretty subjective honestly. It's about the same as the argument of Mustang vs. DynoJet.

C6 Corvette

Scared the pee out of a C6 Corvette the other day. He was at the top of third before he caught up and was just barely pulling. Knew I wasn't going to win, but really happy at the amount of effort needed on his part to beat me.

I don’t trust them because I’ve had them. Then I started doing real racing and really putting my car on a dyno. They’re not as accurate as you think.

As far as dunks are concerned, the numbers don’t mean a lot there either because numbers vary from dyno to dyno. They’re a tuning tool primarily. So many things come into play like DA, correction factor used, placement of sensors, wheels and tire sizes etc.

You can tell me all you want about what other people ran, YOU did not run it.

I hit 13.1 on shit tires on a basic bootmod3 e30 tune I'm going back and tons have changed on my car hit it at 107. Keep in mind this was basically at 4K elevation 70% humidity 85 degrees. Also the drag strip slightly went uphill

I'm going back at a 30ft above sea level elevation track 0% humidity. Much has changed. November is when this happens. I'm going for 12.4 Say goodbye to 12.8

Ok, I hope so, because you're dreaming to even get 12s with the mods in your signature. Update them! lol

Just so you know, all the heavy hitters in this group don't really go to the track. They are putting down 370+whp numbers but haven't gone to the track.

It's not like we're eating and breathing to beat the record we're just having fun. Also we all know you were 18+ timing on unsafe boost. We're all doing this safely lol.

If I hit 13.1 going uphill @ 3k elevation just imagine what will happen in November at negative DA. This was all on a safe e30 tune on 13 degrees of timing November is far away and we're preparing the beast n20 of mine to smash 12.49, Did a little 1/8 trial run and I'm hitting 1.789 60ft's consistent

Who are all these 370+whp heavy hitters? The "heaviest hitters" that post here regularly are all just us stage 2 guys. We have a few on bigger turbos, but that's it.

Only one I can remember that was pushing that was D041987 . I know Stubok and... I can't think of his name, but I remember he's in Canada, are both building theirs.

But yeah, I'm just a Parking Lot Pimp now.

I mean, probably... Unfortunately we're not dealing with Corvettes, where you can shove a new cam in it and immediately drop a second off ET. We'll all do DP, FMIC, Tuning and whatever else, all for less than a second off of stage one times...

Just do it. Get into the 11s, let the engine blow (don't need one to brake after you cross the finish line), and then LS swap it. It'll be like having two Corvettes!
