Yes...1 page back I mentioned that I have successfully added sport+.

From what I have read, 2TB (sport transmission) is not available to be added via bimmercode

Can I use the wired cable that I have for the flash tune or do I need a wireless adapter?

What would be great is being able to code in the Harman Kardon equalizer into the HiFi system. "Tone" just does not get the adjustments correct.

So after doing some coding I think I have accidentally deactivated something I liked. Before using BimmerCode at all (i.e.stock) my angel eyes came on when the car was unlocked.

I've asked Stephan if he knew what I could do but what he said to do was already done.

Anyone know the section I should go to and activate in order for the angel eyes to come on upon unlocking the car?

Does anyone know if it's possible to copy the backup files off my iPad so I can ensure that I have good backup copies? I'm using a PC with iTunes with the iPad. I've tried drag and drop from the file sharing menu and there doesn't seem to be the option to grab the files to save to another location (on my PC for example).

I was trying to code a F32 435i with xenon headlights. Im trying to code the angel eye brightness when low beam is on and it isn't changing anything. I've been trying to figure it out with the developers but no luck. I am looking to go into expert mode and figure this out. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you have an iPhone and iTunes:

1-Connect iPhone that has bimmercode to your computer and open iTunes
2-In iTunes, under your iPhone settings tab to the left click "File Sharing"
3-Click BimmerCode
4-Click Save to...
5-Save your backup to wherever you like
To restore
Connect your phone (or indeed new phone), follow the same steps but instead of Save to...click Add..., point to your backup and it'll transfer it over to your phone

The backups files have a VIN and date naming format.

Is your headlight switch all of the way to the left? I typically keep mine on the 0 symbol during the day and they dont turn on with unlock

Hello all

I just took my new 2018 m4 (with comp pack and manual trans) out for my first real drive. Love the car, especially sports plus mode. It feels almost as a good as a car I used to race a few years back.

Having spent my first time getting used to the car.. some things I know I need to use bimmercode for (wifi odb adaptor comes tomorrow) and seem to be pretty self explantory..
1. Shut off all the warning crap. It asks me the same stuff every time i start up.
2. Stop putting the car in economy mode every time i start it up. I HATE that. I want it to start up exactly as I left it.
3. Shut off ASD.
4. Wouldnt mind getting rid of rev match. I used to race, I know how to do that with my feet. Thankfully its off in sports plus

I think that many of the things I would like to do are in expert mode..
is there an expert mode cheat sheet?

In particular I would like the following When I open the door after shutting off the engine.

Shut off nav, etc.

Drivers seat goes back . (goes back in position after I get in the car).. i know thats possible in expert mode

When I lock the car, fold the mirrors, close the windows regardless of how I lock the car (keyfob or holding the handle) . I have comfort access.. i think all m4's do.

I do not have the executive package, as the only option i really cared about was the comp package.

Any hints or code cheats would be very appreciated. As I dont have the hardware I need yet (but have looked at bimmercode), I have no idea what I can and cant do in the m4 in terms of codes. These things may be posted elsewhere, but Im having some trouble finding them.

Again this is specific to a 2018 m4 with the comp package

Hey everyone! Newbie Bimmer owner.

I gotta say, BimmerCode has made coding super easy. I've been able to disable warning/disclaimer notification on start up, disable Auto Start/Stop, auto fold mirrors when locking, enable Sport+ and now with the latest update, sport transmission! Must have app in my opinion.
