They look clean, but a little undersized. I think my rft are going to need replacement soon too! Not s nice evening for a blowout either!
Yeah she drives all over for work shitty roads so we need to stick to 17" which she had before, and these are. An 18" would look cosmetically better but I can't keep paying $ for bent rims, it's just silly. I think (hope) they'll look good with the bigger tires.

I just need to decide what tire. Me I'd do an AS3+ for Dad I'd go DWS06 for a bit better winter performance. Her I need durable and long lasting she does 20-25k per year and solid in the winter. Need to make a few calls tomorrow.

Yeah, I could do with some winter wheels. I don't have a choice with rims as M perf brakes, have to be 18+ but I did buy the insurance on the tyres and rims, and going to get them to look at them at inspection in October.....

Let me know what you end up with.

Man I'm surprised she's managing to bend 18" rims. They're pretty difficult to scrap unless shes off-roading with them or running over serious deformations in the road. We get bad pot holes up where I am but generally your safe with 18's.

Photoshopping what tints would look like on my headlights. I've been toying with the idea and bought some "light smoke" vinyl last week so may give it a go.

What you guys think?

I've made an assumption on the % for now. I'll need to see what it actually looks like when the vinyl gets in.

Looks great, but is it form over function? I'd be concerned at a loss of light? I know in some States in the US you can be found at fault with tinted rear lights as they impact brake light output.

I've seen the interior of the light painted black which also looks good, but not sure how complicated that is!

You should double check hell stop over w can test fit one. These SRs came off my M235 with your brakes. One of very few 17" that will work a lot of us ran them for winters. Enkei made a couple also.

I think she has a side job with the city inspecting potholes. It's horrible. And they are scraped to hell from curb rash.

Good to know, thanks. Just have to make I get the right size tyres for the xdrive to keep the rotation diameter.

They're not too strict up where we are as long as your lights aren't tinted black. I'm hoping for a light smoked look, if it's too opaque I'm just going to remove them and trash the idea. Smoked headlights and black housings seem to be the trend today.

In terms of performance effects we'll see. Again I'm going very light and the xenons are pretty bright.

Use a small bearing pullers. A decent local mechanic should have one to remove them for you.

I need to replace mine too. My e36 had the same problem but was completely gone after years of neglect from previous owners. They've got better with all the other rubber components around door seals and handles. But nearly 30 years later still use the same shitty material for the cowl.

Started the CF vinyl wrapping process, got a few pieces done last night. GF's wood was looking a little worse for the wear, this was a good enough for now low cost option.

Concur on the small bearing puller if you have one that will fit, especially the drivers side. I didn't so got a wiper arm puller at the local auto parts store. Once off it's a simple job to replace. Make sure to mark the wiper blade location on the windshield (Used painters tape) so reinstall/alignment is easier.
