Yes it is compatible and when you are coming from 2.4.5 there are a couple of improvements like system wide iDrive usage

BTW: do you have a MCU file?
I have the same device with an older MCU

Hi,

I put the file on my usb key without decompressing it then plugged into the device but nothing happens, the device starts normally, I do something wrong, why the update does not start?

No, Touch is not supported, only normal non touch idrive movements.

Your thumbdrive is found at ES explorer and accessible ?
the File has not "double ending" , like ".zip.zip" ?

If it still does not work, try a different USB thumbdrive (below 32GB size), some sticks master boot records are not supported.

Does someone also have the problem in V3.8.3 which max media volume level?
Maxing out the volume through the knob or steering wheel buttons only goes to a fix point.
(Not the loudest but ~"ok")

To make it louder i have to open the Options and set the Media Volume by hand to example 30 and than it can go up to that volume level. Even whith the knob and steering wheel.

After a restart it is the same problem. Strangest part about the bug is, it still shows the (for example) 30 in the volume settings, but i have to reset it to that to make it louder again.

Also, would be great if the Voice button on the steering wheel would bring up bring up Google Voice. Right now it still brings up the BMW voice assistant which is in German for me (my car is imported from Germany). Is this something that could be done with Tasker? Kri's tasker project for GMaps works great !

the update worked after formatting the usb key

I tried to install the application CF.lumen version 3.72 by following the tutorial of the 1st page but impossible to go to daytime / sundown the choice is grayed out

an idea ?

You need to add a location first, after this you can change the settings.

the location is set automatically, I try to put it in manual but do not offer me a field to fill, I press the location icon but nothing happens, I save but the fields are always grayed out?

You can try to put one of the snapdragon animations to /system/Media for test.
Normally Andorid does use then this bootanimation.zip file if it is compatible.

as mentioned above, you proabably need to put it into system/media of your device manually, not via the SD625 Thumbdrive method.
