So is this bug sporadic? I have a 2016 with NBT EVO and so far have no issues with directions freezing? Is it something that could eventually pop up? OR is it specific with people that have HUD?

I have no idea what they're talking about even though the bug may be present FWIW. Used the NAVI 4 times now (hours of use) and have no issues to report on NBT. (not EVO)

Everyone,

I figured it out. My car comes with factory Navi and HUD (2014 model). Like Bimmertech noted in earlier post, I will not see Navi on my HUD when switching to the digital gauge. To make up for this, I would be able to see the Navigation on the center area of the digital gauge.

I finally got a chance to drive my car for extended period this morning. In order for me to see the Navi on the digital gauge, I have to turn off my HUD all together. This means I will not be able to see the speedometer and radio station tuning. I wish this was known before I purchase the gauge.

Is there a way to code my car to have HUD working and Navi displaced in the gauge? (bimmertech question).

Thank you.

Sorry guys. I found the option to turn off navigation on my HUD. Everything works as expected.

Like everyone on here, the Navi freezes up on the gauge.

Thanks all.

Not for nothing but, I'm kinda glad now I ended up not getting in on this - the gauges are sweet, but losing the Nav in HUD + having it freeze in the gauge display would really bother me

Navigation in the display hasn't hung up for me at all, so it's not all of us.

I've lost nothing and have not had one single issue... (NBT, not EVO)

Because of what Bimmertech said about possible issues, I have used the NAV on every trip and haven't had one hiccup. Problem is me and which setup I like best...that M switcher messes with me as I like red at night with ECO yet the M sport gauge is a requirement lol. Been switching a lot with magnification too.

Not like everyone here mate....no issues at all with NAVI. Wish it made more sense.

For those that don't know how to disable the NAV on HUD

Settings -> Head-Up Display -> Displayed Information -> uncheck Navigation

I wonder why some of us has "freezing" Navi and other do not? What are the common factors???

I'm starting to think it's the HUD option as it's the only variable here. But, if you have it off, it should then do what ours does. Doesn't add up

Let's take an informal poll. Those with the "freezing" Navi, do you have HUD?

Those with no "freezing". Do you have HUD?

Count:

Freezing:
HUD: 1
No HUD

No freezing:
HUD
No HUD

The customers that reported this issue to us had HUD - so I think it is a high likelihood that it is NBT or NBT EVO ID4 + HUD where the freezing happens.

Sorry. What does NBT stands for? Any fixes on the horizon?
