Still covered for a few more years myself and only have 11k miles. Others have been to the dealer with no issue....I wouldn't worry about it.

Also the Wifi OBD2 adapter for Torque addon, any ideas? |

I would be more concerned about a tech "playing" with the system once they figure out it's a touchscreen!

Do the guide lines move left or right with the steering ?
Because I think they do with the original camera but if they don't doesn't matter has long as the quality is really good |

you noticing strange audio with GPS when switching between the Avin unit and your normal stereo/XM? heres what is happening to me
i start Waze and start to drive, all the turn by turn audio is goo, i go to XM on my normal radio and the AUX switching to tell me where to go works good but then if i go back to AUX input and the Avin unit the audio sounds horrible for gps, make a loud click and loud hiss while directions are being spoken, Only way to stop it is by resetting waze whats even more strange is i have aux switching set to manual in the factory settings yet GPS still comes through, weird |

Nothing strange with XM to maps back to XM for me and mine is set to AUTO for aux switching. Have you tried another app just as a test? Probably not the app but it's worth checking.
I'm still wondering what happens when a call comes in with this AUTO setting...will have to try it. I would hope that iDrive would take over once it starts ringing pausing the music.

I tested with google maps, it was better but the volumes are so different, it seems that unless you are playing a song or video in Avin through the AUX cable input, Google maps uses the ARM GPS volume as if I'm still in XM, once i play a song in the Avin music player though then google maps uses the regular media volume control so if i have no music playing and I’m on the avin side, then theres a hiss because my volume knob is up on the stereo. Seems to not be following the settings i set between volumes in the audio setting and GPS volume in the audio setting, its definitely weird but i believe my previous unit did the same so maybe its just a bug in the current FW that when i switch to avin the gps is still using the ARM volume setting vs media volume through AUX?
also, i turned off AUX switching, yet it stills switches, LOL |

I have noticed that part too; it probably is a FW issue. I also would also like to see if the Dashboard app can be fixed and if not, take it out! To me, it is useless ATM as-is. Then being able to rearrange/remove/add tiles would be great as I like this launcher for the car. It's definitely not a buggy system but more like "small quarks" lol

http://xtrons.com/cambm5002-160-degr...-x3-x4-x5.html My car has comfort access, just wondering if that one is the right choice for me...meaning can it work with comfort access? I rather not order from the USA because of the extra taxes... 2# Do you think, this unit is same as the Avin one and is compatible with a CIC navi?: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/10-25...OrigTitle=true |

The camera piece replaces the existing grip in the trunk and taps into the backup light for power and ground. There is also a trigger wire that taps to the same power tap. You then run the cable down the trunk support (inside the cover) and behind the carpet to the passenger side door sills. Run under the carpet to the base of the passenger A pillar then up and behind the glove box and into the space behind the head unit. Plug the video cable into the provided cable in the new harness and connect the trigger wire to the camera/trigger wire on the harness. step 1. Run cables... step 2. ........... step 3. Profit!

I still need to do the front camera! If someone attempts the front camera mount, please tell me where you decided to mount it! Where they recommend it would involve a lot of work and from what I see, a bumper cut!

Can anyone help me with my install in an f48 X1 before I send it back? I can't get the cd player out because the wires are so tight behind it. Avin has no instructions whatsoever.
