I ordered a euro headlight switch ages ago - just came in today. Swapped the two and coded rear fogs, finally!
Kind of odd, I had to use them tonight. Major snowstorm and was hard to see. I didn't think they'd come in handy so soon. |

installed tips: Warning..it's a PITA. The stock tips do not have enough clearance by approx 2mm. I had to use a pry bar to move the left tip to gain clearance. it is not easy to bend, maybe if heated but I got them in. now I'm working on how much poke.
first 2 photos is stock vs new |

I bought mine brand-new for $50 USD. Part number is 9265303. I was reluctant to even buy it, but now that it is installed and coded I don't regret it. I think my favorite part is that the rear fog light lights up like the rest of the buttons.
Very easy to install. Pop out the driver's side air vent with a credit card, push down on the two prong/clips and the whole unit just pops out. You can unplug it from there. Here's a thread on how to do it. I couldn't find a way to remove the trim surrounding the switch, so I removed the back cover (just six clips that you can unclip with a credit card). Then I just swapped the blank button on the US version and the rear fog button in the euro version. Then instead of putting the US circuit board/backing back, I just used the euro backing, and plugged it in. This way the rear fog light actually lights up, too. It looks completely stock. So I didn't actually end up using the whole unit -- just the rear fog light button and the backing portion. I'm sure you can switch the entire unit out but there were a lot of little clips that I didn't want to risk breaking. I'm considering selling the regular, US version for some money back. PS, you can of course follow the thread above and just re-use the blank button on the headlight switch your car came with. But you won't get this... You can just pry out the button. No need to pull the whole thing out.
I’m okay with my button not lighting up. I don’t look there anyways. |

Oh yeah the headlights were new as well.. & they're LED light bars! Non OEM. Think they look much better than OEM! Also changed mirror covers, & added a red start/stop button.

Washed and applied a quick coat!
Try to keep the car shiny even though the roads are far from clean this time of the year. |
