The truck ride to you in Cranby, CT from NY, NY is about 140 miles and should only take a day.
If it's in BMW's port for a couple of days, then let's say 3-4 days from the 15th...so, to your dealer by 8/19, that's a Sunday.
If it's gets to your dealer on Saturday, then you may be able to pick it up on Monday 8/20.
But, if it doesn't get there till Monday, then you can pick it up on Tuesday 8/21.
So let's go with 8/20 Monday or on 8/21 Tuesday. You should easily have it before the end of the month.
That's my prediction.

I estimated pickup for 8/20 Monday as well. Mine is also on the Fidelio and the dealership is in South Jersey(Near Philly). I need it to be ready by Monday because I sold my E46 yesterday and told the buyer he can pickup the car on Tuesday. That gives me one day with both cars for a photoshoot

Car looks a little higher in those photos because I was bending down to ground trying to look up at car... it actually looks lower from above.

My car is currently listed as "customs release" and "liner release" on the Wallenius website; the Fidelio reached NYC early this morning. Hoping it's not held up in customs/VPC for more than a few days. This weekend is going to be very, very slowwwwww!

My car was unloaded at Port Hueneme yesterday. The BMW website still says that my car is "En Route to the U.S". The 800 number now says that my car is "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel." I guess a car-carrier qualifies as a "shipping vessel"

Once the Dorado Leader made it into the Pacific, the Port Hueneme ETA updated to be August 14th. The Port Hueneme calendar was also updated with that date.

Let's hope so.. The 21st looks pretty soft schedule wise (same schedule as the 14th when the Dorado Leader snuck in).

No such luck. I stopped by my dealer today for a chat. The 800# will give that message if the car "is at a port", any port. In this case, all it means is that the car has been offloaded from the ship.

They looked up the status of my car, and said that it just entered the VDC at noon today.

They did tell me that another 'sold' car came in the week before (on the Tomar, which arrived August 8th), and that they show it left on a truck yesterday (August 15th). They expect it to show up in Albuquerque tomorrow, or maybe Saturday.
