It looks good. The 98 ron map with 100 ron fuel you're probably making around (or a bit above) 450hp and 600Nm to the crank. AFR, boostprofile and timing profile are as they should be.

Hey everyone, I have 2020 m340, did an own custom tune on mhd, but I got a problem, my load with afr lower 14.7 going down, like some cap, always at the same MAF numbers, at any gear, all fuel limiters are 10afr, all load limiters/targets are maxed out. 24 psi of boost. My hpfp is good as I can see in logs. Any suggestions?
This is logs on same map, difference just in afr rich limit: 14.7 afr https://datazap.me/u/skyoneblr/log-1...og=0&data=5-28 12.2 afr https://datazap.me/u/skyoneblr/log-1...og=0&data=5-28 |

3 logs for 2018 440i with MPPSK:
https://datazap.me/u/f36440xi/b58-20...og=0&data=1-19 https://datazap.me/u/f36440xi/b58-20...og=1&data=1-19 https://datazap.me/u/f36440xi/b58-20...og=2&data=1-19 Ignition angles and boost appear to be deviating heavily from target. IATs are also running of 40F+ over ambient (coolant takes are full). Car is cutting throttle at 5,000rpm+ WOT. Had this problem last year, but it went away after a couple of days so I had just assumed it was a bad tank of gas. Now it is back and has been replicable. Will be replacing plugs and coils with the car being over 80k km. What else should I be looking at? Any advice is appreciated. I think the car isn't tuned, but I cannot be sure as I bought it used. I used Bimmerlink with a OBDlink EX cable (OBD to USB A w/ USB C adapter) for these logs. |

Hi guys, I have a 2018 440 I am getting ready to tune, have completed my maintenance items and want to log the car stock to get a baseline. For this purpose would it be better for me to log each individual gear (3,4,5) or capture a single log through the gears a couple times?

Hey guys no clue how to read logs yet, just curious if you could take a look at my logs. There's 3 different ones. 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear. I was seeing a lot of negative corrections on timing. Car drives fine though. Plugs are new from purchasing the car a few weeks ago at the dealer. Gap was .027 ish. I double checked.

You could also do one pulling through a few gears, like 2,3,4 or 3,4,5.

Either bad quality fuel, or something wrong with the spark plugs.

What steps would you take in this scenario? I guess run out the tank, reset adaptations, check plug gap. I flashed back to stock. Kind of at a loss. I'm afraid to even do pulls if it's that dangerous.

I just flashed BM3 Stage 2 98 on my M140i coming from a stage 1 custom tune. The car ran great on the stage 1 tune with 98 + E10. I have installed the TU pump as well a while back running the custom tune without any issues. Changed the plugs to OEM NGK a month ago.
A few days ago I flashed BM3 for the first time. I have been using MHD for a few years. i logged the car and I noticed straight away that it didn't run very well. Much weaker than my stage 1 tune. I think the car sounds a bit off as well (could be placebo). My fuel is 98 + E15-E20. I don't have a E-sensor. But the amount of E I have put in should be enough (to much?). When looking at the logs, and don't really see anything that alarming, but something is definitely wrong. When looking at the live values. The timing was over 30 degrees and I did see knock. But the graph says something else. The pump pressure shows 3600PSI dropping to target 2800. Is this a normal behaviour for the TU pump? These are not a optimal logs, but I didn't want to push the car more then I had to. What do you guys think? https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6646...0a1e7044fd5c60 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6646...0a1e7044fd5c43 |

Definitely looks like I can increase the E content. But it should be well above E10 in worst case scenario. According to calculations, it should be at E20. That should be good enough for stage 2 98. What can cause the timing and boost to be off? The corrections seem okay imo, that should indicate that the E content is close enough? |

I just checked again and not familiar with reading the boost target/deviation on the bm3 log, so I could be wrong, sorry. Datazap is the one I’ve always used and familiar with. Just wait a bit and someone else will chime in soon 👍

Without any other modifications I flashed stage 2 93 BM3. I added a few extra liters of E85 just to be sure. According to calculations it should be around E20, cause I know that my fuel is not that good. But as soon as I drove the car the first time, i noticed something was off. The power is definitely down from stage 1. |
