2 Shawnsheridan
Hello Shawnsheridan! I found this in current thread hi shawnsheridan, i recalled coming across a post from you saying can telnet into the CIC and view whatever files are inside. How do you telnet and what root account and password to use? does it has FTP as will? thanks Believe it or not, it was done very early on, before E-Sys was "available" to the public, as a means to enable Video In Motion. Back then the password was cracked, and you could Telnet in and and use the QNX Software Developmental Kit to access the files. As I recall, FTP would not work. Somewhere around a year ago, BMW changed the password scheme, and since then it has not been cracked, and with E-Sys readily "available" now, no one bothers anymore to try and get into it. If you want to know more, I can send you a link where this was discussed. Just PM me. Could you send me a link where discussed about ftp access too. Thank you very much. Please sorry my English. |

Hello!
I think that you need special breakbox between Cic and car for Internet in motion. You can found it here http://carsystems.com.ua/en/intellig...t-adapter.html for example I hope it will help you |

Internet-In-Motion works with CIC Emulator / Hardware Activation Modules because they enable DVD-In-Motion by fooling the car into thinking it is stationary rather than moving.

Just wondering, I noticed that there's a delete option after reading the CAFD file and it's right above "edit fdl". Is there an additional warning that asks if you are sure you want to delete the file? This seems potentially dangerous.

Rear Fogs need coding to work with Euro switch
I already posted the details in the main forum. Here's the link:
http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=712785 Thanks to the dude who was looking to deactivate his front fogs and found the code for that. Once I saw that could be done the light bulb (or rear fog light if you will) went off over my head and it all fell into place G |

You have to have a standalone Combox, or NBT Head Unit which has builtin Combox, and then you simply change the Bluetooth Option Code from Basic to Enhanced in your VO, and VO Code the Combox and / or Head Unit.

You do if you want to use PSdZData > 48.2, which you most likely do.
