Does that mean we get a 320 diesel in North America?

Great news! Thanks Jason.
I will keep an eye/ear out for pricing. Debating whether I should switch from Sport Line to M-Sport if I have the time/ability to do so.

I wonder whether the F32 will get xDrive out of the gate, or if we'll have to wait another cycle for that.
I'm one of the odd people who would be more likely to go either F31 or F32 than F30.

I totally agree! What's really sad for Canadian buyers is that the sport line does not come with the sports suspension...it's an extra cost...so the only benefit for me to get the sport line would be the wheels and sport seats... So the ride height of all three lines, luxury, modern and sport are the same for Canadian buyers... This really sucks to be honest and hopefully BMW might change this for MY2013...

About a week ago my dealer told me order in September, delivery in Nov/Dec for xDrive 3-series. Is this article also saying we can order in July? I wonder if delivery will be earlier, too, like October?

Some may be reading something I'm missing, but other than xdrive and re-listing options we've already seen, an Msport 328i and 335i are only getting a cosmetics package, which is what many have already said.
The Msport brakes are NOT standard, they are listed as an option. Interior cosmetics like anthracite headliner is also not part of Msport, it's part of Msport OPTIONAL items. Msport gets the same sport suspension as is standard on the sport-line. Msport gets the same brakes as sport line. The difference is an aero body kit, and some Msport goodies like door sills and foot rests. Msport gets staggered wheel/tire sizes, by adding 255 rears instead of 225 rears. Msport gets a different style steering wheel. That's fine, I like the aero kit, and that's really all it is. I just hope that the package price isn't over $1500 more over sport line, because there is nothing different mechanically to a sport line, other than wider rear tires. Standard Msport wheel/tire size is still 18" with optional 19's. Sport line in a 335i adds $1700 to the base 3 price. If Msport adds $2500 to a base 3, it'll be an exceptional offer. If Msport adds $3000 to a base 3, it's still a good offer for the cosmetics. Above $3000, it doesn't add anything mechanically to be worth it to me. |

In fact when you option the sport suspension with quattro the ride height is lowered quite nicely. Plus, I prefer quattro to Xdrive. In my experience of ownership, quattro makes an Audi better in every handling way. Whereas, the best handling BMW is a RWD, and Xdrive takes some of it away. Xdrive in a BMW is about winter driving. Quattro is about year round driving. |

I believe that just like previous, the M Sport package will be $1500+ above sport package.
The steering wheel is the M3 wheel. If you look at previous 3 series with M sport, the older X3 with M sport, and so on, you can see a trend, even between generations. Probably looking at a $4000+ M Sport package. |

Will we a lower-power diesel engine in the USA? I think the volume is there and Mercedes is bringing over their smaller displacement diesel as well.
