I have previously always had black interiors so the one concern I had was with the ivory. I like the look as part of the MSport interior as dash still black and contrasting black on the doors etc, but concerned re long term maintenance. Dealer (who I trust as 5th vehicle have bought through them) did show me a couple of recent trades with light interiors which had been looked after well, to demonstrate they wore well, and some encouraging posts on this site suggested that with regular maintenance no major problems. So as kids now old enough to have their own cars and not be in my car much, took a chance. Posts and dealer seem to suggest with reasonable general care and regular monthly leather cleaning should be ok - as long as no kids regularly jumping in the back and dropping chocolate on the ivory leather!!! Nice car!! On the picture which shows door opened, i think i see the whole inner side is lined with soms kind of seal material? I dont think my 14 f30 has that. Wonder if that is what bmw did to fix the squeak...

I know the doors on the GC are frameless so the sealing is a bit different, but you should have the same seal on the door opening, and on the door itself?

Nice! Can you post some interior pics? I have the matte blue finishers on my order and would love to see more pictures! The gloss-black ones are way too reflective at night and are fingerprint magnets, but seem to be the popular choice.

Exactly how I'd like it, except for the rear exhaust which would have the dual exit splitted in the back...

I like the wheels, not sure if I want to get them baked or not. Looking to get it coded, tinted, get a spoiler, and get blue side air ducts (same color as brakes) for now. Thanks!!

looks great. I really like the blue interior accents.
I am really bumming that my 435GC Msport didn't come with the M brakes. I'll probably end up buying them... they look too badass not to have. I just added carbon black painted reflectors, 35% tint, bought an invisicord for my radar, and ordered ECS wheel spacers the other day. will post pics soon |

My god....more I see, deeper love I fall in with this car.
Never had this kind of feeling since E92 M3. I have to get this car now. |

Car has the M Sport Adaptive Suspension so ride quality is fine.
Compared to my 2009 E90 330d M Sport which was traded for the GC, on some of the patchwork Tarmac around where I live, in fact it's a major improvement. (Indeed this was one of the first thing my wife commented on - as she's usually a passenger in my car, she was less of a fan of the ride / handling balance of the 330d than I was!) |
