Shophopper If BMW changes the 2 x 2 byte pattern to identify each map year & geographical location, the FSC generation routine will need to change as well.
For advanced users (ones who have the byte sequence before the Lookup.xml file is updated), I'd recommend using the console version, which gives you that flexibility. |

deneyer This trial verson may work for EVO ID4: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1529040
If you have an F0 file, it would be helpful for additional testing. |

Jagaer,
How do we know the VIN Build Date? My car is 2014 model, and i bought end of 2013. Carfax shows 10/13 local dealer did pre-delivery inspection. Thanks. |

seattleweather Put the last 7 of your vin into a decoder, such as: https://www.bmwvin.com
In the output, one of the lines will be something like: Prod. Date 2010-08-18 -- That is your build date. |

Hi Jagaer I've been following all of the above for the FSC code for my car; however, every code it's given seems invalid in my car. I've selected the correct Map (NBT, Europe NEXT 2018-2), nearest production date (mine is 2014/10/31) and the one before and the one after. None of the codes that are generated work on my car. What am I doing wrong??? |

@wasimakbar I don't think that the production date list is exhaustive. It's quite likely that you've got a key that isn't on that list.
I finally got around to hooking up E-SYS to my car in the weekend and pulled out the FSC info. I used the FSC file to generate a code, and then generated codes from around my production date (2012-10-12). None of the date-based codes matched. If you can, use E-SYS to pull your FSC data and use that to generate a code. Adapters and cables are fairly cheap and easy to find on places like eBay. |

My car is under warranty so I also don't want to do anything that will get me on the wrong side of the dealers. Any other way of getting the correct FSC codes for my car? @Jagaer anything you know of? |

Jagaer
I have downloaded v1.9 of your Generator and recently stored F0 from my F31 LCI from 2015 that should have NBT EVO ID4. I want to test if this does work but as I already do have 2018-2 installed into my car I do need 2018-3 but it is not possible to select using drop-down. Can you please assist me so that I can test? |

Diagnostic Adress (hex): 0x63 Application Number (hex/dec): 0xF0 Upgrade Index (hex/dec): 0x01 after selecting Identify I think I remember that there was "HU_NBT2" or similar using this I was able to read "storeFSC" and save it to my local drive |

My car was built in 07/2015. So I had the free updates until 07/2018. The 2018-2 map was still in this time period. But someday I still want to create the code myself. |
