The UK price is c£350; it landed with him in about a weeks time and was genuine Nissens

He did buy a used one from Quarry Motors but it was damaged even though they sold it as fully working!

I think Valeo make the intercoolers for BMW, which can be had from AutoDoc for less than the £500 odd BMW want for it!

The Nissens brand Dan quoted is good also.

Nothing wrong with the 35d intercooler, although it only has one additional cooling rail over the standard issue 20d/30d one. BMW obviously did their diligence and testing and deemed it adequate for the required cooling/lag compromise.
