I can't really say there is anything to get excited about. I'm still planning on switching to the C450 AMG. I've been a BMW fan for years, but this LCI has left me underwhelmed.

Stiffer suspension...I'm listening..
Really interested to see what the options/lines will look like and if they will loosen up the restrictions a little on color/materials combinations |

Headlights look good, but not as good as the 4-series Concept. Need a bit more octagon to 'em!
New cup holder cover, probably with better holders underneath. New trim around air con and radio. Too bad no new IP like the X3 received mid-cycle. Those exhaust tips on the 340i look a bit dark? Maybe all 340i models come with Sport exhaust? |

I own a new c class its great! but from driving both the 335i and the C class the 3 series is a much better drivers car imo no wonder it wins against in every review against the C. both are great cars and the new C class is way better than the last gen C class only downside is the ride is too harsh hit a pothole and you can feel it shattering your spine. I only went with the C cause it was working out cheaper and I couldnt get the 3 series I wanted on offer.

Can't wait to see the official unveil tomorrow!
Agreed that I've driven the new c400 and a 335i back to back. Big difference in driving dynamics. C400 is much softer even in its sportiest settings

Dont like the new headlight desgn, just like i didnt with the new 6.
Taillights on the other hand are definitely an improvement..just dont know if enough to trade in for the LCI. Lets wait and see how those new engines and other adjustments behave. |

I drove the C400 as well and thought it was nice inside but didn't like how it drove.... C450 is a totally different animal. Completely different suspension setup, different steering, different rear diff, and 30+ more HP. No doubt a 335i is a better car to drive than the C400, but both companies just raised the stakes. In the end we all win, both C450 and 340i both ought to be really great.

No doubt the c450 is a different animal. Kind of like what the s5 does to an a5 with Audi. It's that mid model, not overly aggressive but more so than the regular model. We see BMW doing this with their "m"-variants(m235) and look how well that was rated. I know there were rumors of a m340i coming out when the car gets a new body style so we will see how everything pans out! I am liking the preliminary stats on the 340i though.

I literally have to decide tomorrow whether or not to purchase a used '14 335i MSport that I have a deposit on OR potentially order/lease the LCI.
If the LCI has any chance to win my vote, it had better be under the hood and chassis, and possibly interior color options as the exterior changes are VERY subtle.
