Ok so it seems the box is probably what is throwing it off, hmmm??

Yours were these:

Correct those were the ones.

Thanks Gab. it must be the LED Driver Box, or something to do with the 8th Generations? I finally gave in and order some Load Resistors, not just have to think about where I am going to mount them. and hopefully they will take care of the problem.

The load resistors work great. I paid $7.00 shipped for a set.

Yeah they weren't too badly priced.

The car is checking to make sure there's a bulb in place. It's expecting to read the 6 ohm load of a halogen, but the load of an LED is in the hundreds of ohms, so it thinks there's nothing there. The resistor wired parallel to the LED gives the car the 6 ohm load it's looking for. The problem is that the resistor will get very hot, as it works like a 50 watt heating element. You have to be careful to mount it away from any plastic that would get melted or even catch fire from the heat.

Where would you recommend mounting something like this in the fog lamp area?

The resistors don't get that hot. They only get to about 100-120*F max tested with an IR thermometer. That is tested in 80* air temps with the vehicle non moving for 30 minutes. Most composite/ABS type plastics don't start to melt or soften until 220*-280*F. Mine are zip tied right to my fog light plastic housing nice and neatly.

I understand that the car cold checks the bulb, but wouldn't coding the cold check to OFF solve this? (which I coded). So, Is the car cold checking the bulb from another part of the Code?

I can't say, I've not gotten into coding. I would if I could speak German.
