For me that is the killer, as i have a HUD i really like the navigation being shown on it, especially when i am working normally and can regularly do some several hundred mile journeys etc.

I have retro fitted a NBTEvo D15251 into my 2016 320d as had the EntryNav. Can I flash to get Car Play? is it wireless? I have retro fitted carplay but the Bluetooth is a pain.

Yes. You need to flash it to iD6. Did you also plug the OABR cable? Yes CarPlay it's wireless. You need to buy a wifi antenna.

Sorry for my ignorance whats a OABR cable? how easy is it to do it? and also to put it back if I am not happy with it, I have used esys quite alot.

if you don;t have the OABR cable u cannot flash the unit. Check google for pinouts.

NBTEvo is ~£450

Don’t have HUD, and maps are good enough on EntryNav.

Only other differences are onboard storage and 3G vs 4G? Will most certainly only be using CarPlay, with a rare occurrence of BMW maps if there’s no mobile signal, as I have GPS already wired.

Yea i know EntryNav2 price is cheaper. But with NBTevo CarPlay it's somewhere 50 euros. With EntryNav2 CarPlay is 200 euros

I'm very interested in getting Wireless Apple Carplay to this car. Is it possible with a simple flash?

Be grateful for any and all advice you can offer. I'm thinking it is possible with just a flash and a WiFi antenna purchase?? VERY HOPEFUL of this in any case.

Also any real world experience doing such a thing and the ongoing performance of the unit would be muchly appreciated

100% doable, just wants to confirm. WiFi antennas is there.
