Looks great. And as some has pointed out there is even room for a bit more aggressive offsets in the rear and front. Good to know!

Thanks for the info , and nice car!

Im selling my F11 and was thinking of keeping the original M-package wheels, 8,5x19 ET 33 and put them on the F31 with 235/35-19 all around (getting an x-drive) Now I know they will fit, thanks!

Do you think it would be any room for 245/35, or is that pushing the limits?

There is outer clearance but I'm not sure about inner and if it would rub something else. I believe they would fit.

I didn't have my car aligned after I had it dropped.

Okey, the offset I was recommended on my wheels I ordered was more aggressive. So we'll just have to wait and see...

What offset?
I hope it works for you. Someone has to find the limit.

Here's my theory as to why they look like 20s at first glance: it's a combination of the visual effect of black wheels and black tires and the fact that the aspect ratios of his tires are shorter than the factory 19s, and quite a bit shorter than some other 19 inch rim/tire configurations that others are using, so this setup gives an appearance more like 20s (short sidewalls..less visible rubber in the profile view). I think this looks better than some of the other 19s that people are putting on their f30s where the sidewalls are actually TALLER than stock (see photo below)-

FRONT:
factory 19s are 225/40 19 => 90mm sidewall
onehungevo's are 235/35 19 => 82.25mm sidewall
7.75mm shorter sidewalls on the front

REAR:
Factory 19s are 255/35 19 => 89.25mm sidewall
onehungevo's are 265/30 19=> 79.5mm sidewall
The sidewalls are 9.75mm shorter on the rear.

I think onehungevo's M5 rep setup looks far better than the M6 19in reps in the picture below where the sidewalls are clearly too tall which makes the tires/sidewalls look bulky and the car actually sits higher off the ground than stock...it just looks "off" a bit with 245/40/19 up front and 275/35/19 on the rear. (98mm and 96.25mm sidewalls, respectively) These M6 wheels are nice (below), but this configuration looks bad. I'm sure this one below would look better if it was lowered, but you can still tell the the sidewalls are taller. (Almost 16mm taller sidewall than onehungevo's setup)

car looks good, but it would look better with 20s. the rears look too small. they dont look like 20s to me especially with the drop. maybe before the drop, but after the drop the wheels look small. if anything, the rears look too low to me. but thats just my opinion.

good looking set of replicas though

Love the white on black contrast. But the rear looks way too low. It turned a classy BMW into a ghetto low rider. Maybe it's the angle. The HR Sport would work better for the rear.

According to tirerack the overall rear diameter between 19 with a 30 series tire and 20 with a 25 series tire is exactly the same. Take into consideration the 20's I've seen are a little stretched I would say that the set-up I have is a larger diameter thus filling up the wheel well more.

I was recommended everything from 33 to 40 for the rears (9.5) and 30-35 for the fronts (8.5). But I don't actually know what the offset will be on the wheels (HRE) I ordered. I asked around a lot, for both iForged, ADV.1 and HRE!

For the record, I think your wheels look great. The people that say they look small are full of it!

Your overall outside diameter on the rear is 19.5mm (about 3/4 in.) smaller than the stock outside diameter- so your setup actually fills the wheelwell less than stock--but I think your setup looks great, because of the lower profile sidewalls-- especially compared to other configurations where the outside diameter is LARGER than stock with taller sidewalls giving a very bulky appearance (like the photo in my post above where the outside diameter is 14-16mm larger than stock)

The tire's aspect ratio "35" or "40" etc. is meaningless without knowing the tire width...for example, a 245/40-19 has a 98mm sidewall (distance from from rim to tread) (245mm x .40 = 98mm) and a 245/35-19 has an 85.75mm sidewall (245mm x .35 = 85.75mm)

Ah, my mistake! Sorry about that--I was looking at the post above yours and thought you were responding to that post about comparing tire sidewall aspect ratios between 19in and 20in wheels. I neglected to actually READ what you quoted in your post regarding offsets.

No problem. What you did wrote is something a lot of people doesn't pay enough attention to, so useful information.

I asked them to compare 275/25/20 and 265/30/19. That was before I ordered my set-up. Just an FYI.

the tire shop here told me that 235/35/19 in front and 265/30/19 in the back are way to "low profile" for the newer/heavier F30. Instead he said i must get 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the rear.

I love onehungevo's tires which are the 235/35/19 in front and 265/30/19 in the back. Do you guys think 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the rear will look ugly? Like the **********s picture right above, the tires look terrible Id hate if my tires looked anything like that

The 245/35/19 will have an 85.75mm sidewall, which is slightly lower profile than the optional OEM 19s, I don't think it will look bad. The **********s photos above show 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear tires (according to **********s when I asked) So they have 96-98mm sidewalls...10+mm taller sidewalls than your contemplated configuration.

If its Allen, just trust him!

He knows his business. I got this other guy who bought a set of wheels from him and he didn't listen to what Allen suggested. Three days later he went back due to rubbing and other issues and now has to pay more to get it fixed.

Bro your car will look awesome. Check out my tires, thought you liked them?

Good luck either way!
